"Our Australian terrier Rudy has been a lifelong patient of Dr. Bob.
Around age 6, Rudy's penchant for jumping from high places and
running miles a week with a dog runner caught up with him and he
was diagnosed with torn cartilage in his back knees. I was told surgery
was our only option, but also knew from research that small dogs
who have orthopedic surgery have low success rates, just because there
is so much less room for error. I took Rudy to Dr. Bob who
over the course of months gave him chiropractic adjustments and
remedies to realign him and reduce inflammation. While Rudy will not
be running free like he used to, he has avoided surgery and is his usual
