Dr. Bob Ulbrich
Dr. Bob Ulbrich

Dr. Ulbrich earned his undergraduate degree at Hamilton College in Clinton, New York and his veterinary degree at The University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. In 1994, he earned his certification as a veterinary homeopath through the Academy of Veterinary Homeopathy and in 2005 gained certification as a veterinary chiropractor through the The Healing Oasis Wellness Center. Dr. Ulbrich can address any health problem using a variety of modalities and has enjoyed a great deal of success using homeopathy to treat cancer and even behavioral problems. He is also available to do phone consultations with pet guardians and their local veterinarians throughout the country when a more holistic approach is desired.
Dr. Ulbrich currently lives in SW Portland with his wife, two sons, two cats and the one and only Hannah Banana. He lists some of his most interesting past employment experiences as being the Curator of Animals at the Aqua Circus of Cape Cod and volunteering to treat oiled seabirds in Washington state after the sinking of the Tenyo Maru. In his free time, he enjoys sailing, hiking, camping, dancing, SCUBA diving, and river rafting.

Dr. Cydria Manette

Dr. Manette graduated from the Washington State University of Veterinary Medicine.  She has gained certification as a veterinary chiropractor through the Healing Oasis Wellness Center, and acupuncture training through the Chi Institute. Most recently, Dr. Manette has completed Dr. Richard Pitcairn’s Advanced Course in Homeopathy and has begun to study osteopathy. Dr. Manette’s true love is the care of horses and her expertise as an equine vet has transferred quite well to the small animals in our practice, where the clients, patients and staff enjoy her warm and compassionate manner.
Brian Blackburn

Brian grew up on a cattle ranch in Salem, where he attended Chemketa Community College before moving to Portland several years ago. He spent three years working as a foster parent and placement coordinator at the Oregon Humane Society and worked as a receptionist at Dove Lewis before joining HPVC in May 2007. Brian currently shares his home with a collie mix named Zoie and a Shar Pei mix named Bianca. In his spare time, Brian likes to play guitar, camp, garden and hang out with the dogs. His future ambitions include becoming a dog trainer and running a natural pet supply store.

Adria Fix
Adria Fix

Adria is a Portland native that joined our staff while completing an internship through Goucher College, where she earned her Bachelors of Science degree in Biology in 2006.
She has moved back to Portland and currently resides with her family in Lake Oswego. Last fall, the Fix family welcomed our former clinic kitty, Luna, into their home and they report that after establishing herself as the queen, Luna has graciously agreed to allow them to stay. Adria also has a horse named Bren that she has raised, trained and shown for the past few years. When not working at Holistic Pet Vet Clinic, you can be sure to find Adria in the saddle as she not only rides for pleasure, but acts as a professional riding instructor and horse trainer. Her other hobbies include painting and photography and her greatest ambitions include operating a rescue organization for neglected horses that need a new start in life and to travel the world!

Rose Jobe

She lives in NE Portland with her dog, Nikkie, and cat, Dianna. In her free time, Rose enjoys making essential oils and lotions, sewing, camping and traveling. If you stop by the clinic, you will undoubtedly want to have a dose of Rose's incredibly bubbly laughter as her smiling face greets you in the reception area!
